The human body is a very efficient machine. Even if you have allowed pound after pound of fat to fill out your body, you can get rid of all that lard.

01/ If you eat a small bag of air-popped popcorn instead of 

corn chips, it will save you at least 60 calories.

minutes a day will let you get rid of 14 pounds in a year. 
-Try to eat beans. They will help your body burn up the 

fat. 
-You need to get off of the couch.

more protein and less fat, less sodium, and less calories 

than wings.

-Eat a good breakfast. A high-nutrient breakfast will get 

your body off to a great calorie-burning start.
-You need at least seven hours of rest per night. Sleep 

deprivation will destroy your metabolism.
-If you chew slowly, it will help you eat less.
-Do a crossword puzzle while you are watching TV. You will 

be less likely to eat something if your fingers are keeping 


busy.

03/ In your morning cup of coffee, switch to skim milk 

instead of cream and sugar.
-Panko crumbs will stick to pork chops and skinless chicken 

breasts without the need for the higher-calorie breads made 

with eggs and flour.
-You should eat more avocados. They have the kind of 

healthy fats that keep your body needs.
-Try to control the portions of potatoes and pasta.
-Servings of these starches should never be bigger than a 

baseball.
-Drink lots of tea. It has many fat-burning anti-oxidants.

04/ Try to eat six meals a day.
-If you put food in your body every three to four hours, it 

will push your metabolism to the limit. Do not have seconds 

for at least twenty minutes.
-Use non-fat Greek yogurt instead of mayo and sour cream.
-If you eat peanuts from their shells, you will eat 50% 

fewer nuts because you have to peel before you can eat.
-Sugar-free mint gum after a meal sends signals to your 

brain that it is time to stop eating.

05/ If you do power yoga, you can burn up to 344 calories per 

session. 
-Substitute your morning bagel and juice with a bowl of 

oatmeal and protein-packed eggs. 
-Try working out with a partner. People who train together 

are 34% more likely to continue with their workouts.
-Eat at the kitchen table and do not eat on the couch.
-If you drink more water, you can fool your body into not 

feeling hungry.
-Consume poached eggs, poultry, and fish. Do not fry these 

foods.
-Swim laps or run in the water.
