If you are looking for a way to relax and stop your negative thoughts fast, you should definitely consider trying the EFT exercise below. Tapping on various acupuncture points can help you balance your body’s energy and overcome worrying in just a couple of weeks.

● What Is EFT ?

For those of you who have never heard of EFT before, it is a form of psychological acupressure used to treat a wide range of emotional and physical problems. It is a relatively new discovery and because of that, it is often overlooked, even though it has been used as an effective treatment to help thousands of people.
EFT is basically a tapping sequence which helps release blockages within your energy system and start living life more harmoniously. You will need to be using your fingers to tap on the skin where your energy meridians are located.
Don’t worry, it is a completely safe and pain free treatment. It is also easy to practice at home, read on to discover how.

● Does It Really Work ?

Although, as mentioned before, EFT is a relatively new discovery, it draws its science from Eastern discoveries that have been around for over 5,000 years. These ideas have been ignored by most Western practices for many years, but are now becoming more and more popular.
For example, as Albert Einstein mentioned almost 100 years ago, everything is energy. Including our bodies. So EFT focuses on working with that energy to achieve physical and emotional wellbeing.
It tries to eliminate the hidden, negative emotions in our bodies that cause disruptions in our physical systems. In the short time since its introduction by Gary Craig back in the 1990’s, EFT has provided thousands of people with relief from all kinds of conditions, often in surprisingly quick time and after a long and painful time of searching for a more "traditional" solution.

● Why Choose EFT ?

  • It is easy to carry out, no special equipment is needed
  • It’s non-intrusive
  • It is easy to learn and can be self-applied
  • Many people get instant relief
  • It can be used to treat a wide variety of problems
  • When practiced regularly will provide long lasting and even permanent results

● EFT For Stress And Anxiety Relief :

Recent research has shown that EFT significantly increases positive emotions, such as hope and enjoyment and decreases negative emotional states, including anxiety.
EFT is particularly powerful for treating stress and anxiety because it specifically targets your amygdala and hippocampus, which are the parts of your brain that help you decide whether or not something is a threat
Many mood and behavior problems can be addressed safely and effectively with EFT. You can teach your body to relax and teach it to react more calmly to the unavoidable stressors of everyday life.

➣ Step 01 :

Step one is called .
It is meant to help your body’s energy focus on healing itself.
Don’t worry, this won’t take long.
Simply rub the spot on your chest called the ‘Sore Spot’ for 2-3 minutes. It is your lymph area which is located on both sides of your chest about 4 inches below the shoulder. It might take a few minutes to actually find this spot, but you will know when you hit it – you will feel a sensitive twinge.
While you are rubbing the Sore Spot repeat this affirmation:
"Even though I have this , I completely accept myself and I am happy with my life"
('In the blank, fill in the problem that you want to address')
Make sure that you put emotion in the affirmation and try to believe in it. Also say it slowly, making a pause between each time you repeat it.

➣ Step 02 :

Step two is called .
This is where the tapping itself comes in.
Use your middle and index finger to do the tapping and simply tap each point for 7-9 times (no need to count).
You can use either your right or left hand whichever is more convenient.
Here’s the list of points. It will take some time to learn the sequence, but you will be moving downwards from your eyebrow, so it is not too difficult to remember.
    • Eyebrow - Located just above the nose where the eyebrow starts, slightly to the side.
    • Corner of the Eye  - Located on the bone alongside the corner of the eye.
    • Under the Eye - Located an inch under the pupil.
    • Under the Nose  - Located in the area between your nose and upper lip.
    • Under the Mouth - Located below your bottom lip and above your chin.
    • Collar Bone - Located where your collarbone and first rib meet.  To find it, locate the U shaped indentation at the top at the bottom of your throat (where a man knots his tie), then move down 1 inch and to the side 1 inch.
    • Under the Arm - Located about 4 inches below the armpit.
    • Under the Nipple - Located about 1 inch below the nipple.
    • Fingers - Located on the outside tip of each finger where the nail and the skin meet.
    • Karate Chop - Located on the fleshy, outside part of the hand between the top of the wrist and the bottom of the pinkie finger.
Each time you tap you say a reminder phrase (for every 7-9 taps). It is a shorter version of your Setup affirmation from above.  It is simply the problem that you are trying to deal with said without fear. You need to keep in mind that even though you have this problem, you are still great and you accept yourself.

✔ Result :

After you’ve done the sequence, take a deep breath and just concentrate on your feelings. Really tune into how you feel. You should feel a subtle sense of relief, that you need to find and try to focus on it to help it grow.
You might want to repeat the tapping sequence again for better results, and check in with yourself again.
Usually, this exercise helps people get an instant sense of relief, even if it’s not lasting or doesn’t banish the stress completely. You will get more long-lasting results when you start practicing EFT regularly.
Tapping for anxiety really does work. So give it a go.
